Açaí berries are loaded with antioxidants, and known to help detoxifying the body. They contain beta-carotene, Vitamin C & E, are a good source of plant-based proteins and fats, and are an incredibly dense source of anthocyanins, which are deep blue compounds capable of neutralizing the body’s negative response to stress. They also slow oxidation in the body, which helps prevent cell damage.
Mangosteen is a tropical fruit that has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties to detox the body. Its high levels of essential vitamins, minerals, fiber and xanthones give a great boost to the immune system and support optimal digestive, heart, and brain functions.
Spirulina blue-green algae is highly nutritious, contains more than 50 percent complete protein, and is a good source of chlorophyll. It is also rich in vitamins, minerals, amino and omega-3 fatty acids, enzymes and trace minerals which contribute in reducing inflammation and allergic symptoms, and support the immune system.
Wild blueberries contain high amounts of vitamin C, fiber, and phenols (gallic acid) which acts as neuroprotective agents to protect dogs’ brain from degeneration throughout the years. They also boost the immune system, fight arthritis pain, and even cancer.
Maitake mushrooms are one of nature’s most powerful plants with incredible healing properties. Rich in polysaccharides, they regulate the immune system, reduce inflammation, and support the spleen, liver and stomach. Also shown to be an ally in fighting cancers by inhibiting tumor growth.
Milk thistle contains silymarin, a flavonoid that’s extracted from the plant’s seeds. It does wonders for liver health and detoxification. It specifically protects the liver against nasty toxins, activates protein synthesis, and stimulates growth of new liver cells to replace those that can be damaged.
Purple cabbage is super rich in antioxidants and fiber which is awesome for digestion and to maintain a strong immune system. It’s also high in sulfur, which promotes the production of healthy keratin, essential for nails, skin and coat. Components of cabbage have proven cancer-fighting properties.
Blackberries burst with antioxidants. One of them, anthocyanin, is believed to act as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent. Add to that, lots of fibers and vitamins to fight free radicals, for a strong immune system.
Elderberries are little known small berries that are very nutritious. They contain vitamins A & C, as well as iron, iodine and a number of bioflavonoids. They are believed to work by supplying the body with antioxidants and boosting its natural immune response.
Butterfly Pea flowers contain a high number of anthocyanins due to their blue color, which are a type of antioxidant known to be beneficial in reducing internal inflammation, pain, and have been praised for their wonderful calming and memory-boosting effects.

Hemp seeds are a nutritional powerhouse. They contain highly digestible complete protein, every essential amino acid, as well as a near-perfect 3:1 ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids! Chia seeds are a plentiful source of complete protein and have 3 times the amount of Omega-3 fatty acids as salmon! They are an excellent source of B vitamins, phosphorus, potassium, copper, iron and zinc and they are loaded with antioxidants benefiting the immune system, skin and coat, joints, brain development and maintenance, eyes and growth.
Oats contain more protein per calorie than any other common grain and equivalent in quality to meat, milk and egg protein. Also rich in silicon, they make bones strong. Considered a nervine, an herbal compound that acts as a general nerve tonic, it offers huge benefits, as it helps balancing the nervous system.
Buckwheat is a good source of complete protein, and its gluten free. It contains a higher level of protein than rice, wheat, millet or corn. Tt contains high levels of the lysine and arginine essential amino acids. As a soluble fiber, it facilitates digestion and regulates sugar levels.
Rosemary is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory known to protect against all cellular oxidative stress and increase circulation and blood vessel health. It also reduces spasms and gas in the digestive system, which can improve a dog’s breath.
